Tod
Hello guys, After purchasing counterfeit diagnostic scanner from china which didn't work on my van I am a bit lost which one i am supposed to buy now! Can anyone suggest me a good quality scanner which actually works on connect vans. Call it best buy. Autel ms509 is the one in question! I don't think I will try buying the same one again because they don't make them anymore after speaking with the manufacturer. Any suggestions appreciated
cosmicray
Many years back I purchase an Actron for my Ford Taurus. When I picked up my TC, finally located the hidden ODB connector, and realized it was the same jack as the Taurus, plugged in the Actron and gave it a try. It appeared to work as it reported "NO CODES". The one I have looks somewhat like the Actron CP9575, other than mine has a 1-line display and the newer ones are multi-line. Ccrew
I gave up on the $10 Chinese ones that support levels of Bluetooth and OBDII that don't exist yet and software that's pirated. ScanTool OBDLink MX bluetooth or the new WiFi version..: http://www.amazon.com/ScanTool-426101-OBDLink-Bluetooth-Diagnostic/dp/B006NZTZLQ http://www.amazon.com/ScanTool-OBDLink-MX-Wi-Fi-Diagnostic/dp/B00OCYXTYY/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1426615398&sr=1-1&keywords=OBDLink+WiFi
