ferrousity
I bought a wagon model Transit, and of course the first thing I did was take the back seats out because I need all the space on a regular basis. I had read in another thread that the cargo floor plate that levels out the foot wells costs a whopping $750 to buy from Ford. I haven't verified that, but it doesn't matter since it is such a straight forward piece, and I work with metal all the time. so...I built one and installed it right away so I could also install my new BedRug. robertlane

jjf1954
I am brand new to this forum, having just purchased a new TC Premium Wagon. I removed my rear seats and am interested in contacting ferrousity to find out more about having one of these floor extensions made for my TC. Unfortunately, because I am new, the forum rules do not allow me to contact a member directly (by email) until I have a minimum of four posts (this being my first). So, I am hoping ferrousity will contact me through this forum, or call me directly at my home (541-997-1601) to discuss this matter further. While I am posting here, I was wondering about the long term reliability of the TC--preferring comments/opinions by actual owners. I am considering purchasing the Ford seven year, 125,000 mile zero deductible extended warranty but, my dealer wants $2,500.00--ouch! He originally wanted $2,900.00 before my talking him down a little. Any comments on reliability and the cost of this extended warranty will be appreciated. Thank you, Joseph
