  1. Here is what I am trying to identify. It is behind the fuse box under the steering wheel. Has 4 yellow tabs
  2. I started having an issue while driving. Van is a 2012 Ford Transit connect XLT. The Ac would kick off and the blower fan would kick off then on. The traction control light would remain on and the mileage gauge would blank out an then come back. The computer would appear to reset itself and then all was acting normal again. Sometimes I would restart vehicle and it would be fine. Yesterday, it got worse. I will attach some videos if I can to show what happened. All the gauges and warning signs started going nuts. After pulling over, I turned vehicle off to restart and it was dead. Even with the key out, they was clicking coming from under the dash. I took to my mechanic and they could not pull any trouble codes and they disconnected the aftermarket remote start and alarm as they figured this would be the most likely cause of the problem. Today after getting to work, I went out to start and noticed my keyless entry was not working. Once i got inside, there was not power and just a constant clicking from under the steering wheel. I believe I isolated it to just behind the fuse box, there is another box with what appears to be 4 yellow tabs with wire clusters going into it. I will try to attach a photo as well so hopefully someone can identify what this control box is for. I take the Van in tomorrow to the mechanic again however they seem to think there is not much they can do unless they can get the problem to duplicate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 3. It is a 2011 so I don't believe there was a button that actually turns it off. I will talk to him again today and see exactly what they did but he said there mechanic disabled it (which could of been as simple as pulling a fuse)
  4. Hello all. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I am about to buy a 2011 Transit Connect and the seller say they disabled the traction control because he was getting stuck in less than an inch of snow. Does this sound like a legit reason to disconnect or may he be just hiding a faulty traction control. I am not sure how it was discontented yet, if he just pulled a fuse or what exactly he did. Will look at the vehicle in a few days here. If this traction control is always off, what else would be turned off that could be dangerous to drive? Any help appreciated and thanks in advance!!!!
  5. Hello all. Just joined the forum. Looks like a great place. Looking to get some advise on my first purchase.
