Troubleshooting squeaks on my 2011 (just purchased). Did you try the stall mats?

Just bought a used 2011 Connect and would love to hear from folks who have found solutions for those door rattles. My immediate thought was taking it to an audio shop here in Columbus that installs sound deadening materials. Bad idea?
