Yeah, I bought one. They just don't fit or connect to the existing wiring easily. I gave up and installed an OEM camera.

I am not sure where you got your information, but the back up camera on my 2016 Transit Connect XLT LWB passenger van stopped working. I searched and searched for a replacement. Ford wanted $375 just for the camera alone. I finally found an OEM replacement from genuinefordparts.com for $263 which included shipping. It took me less than half an hour to pop off the trunk liner, remove 4 11 mm nuts and remove the tailgate latch and camera. The camera has a connector that I removed, popped the old camera out, installed the new one and put everything back together. This time, I used RTV silicone sealer to seal around the hole the camera fits in. I believe the stock camera got wet and that caused it to fail. Anyway, if you can find an OEM back up camera for less than $20 I would love to know where.

Well, not much usable advice, but some good stories. I actually don't know if there is a bladder being pumped up or a piston/hydraulic system that is leaking. There is no fluid leak and I suppose I will take the seat out when the weather gets better to see. As to the Air Hawk suggestion, I don't think it would be thick enough to make up for the lift distance. I have a "Bunz Eze" for my motorcycle but it isn't nearly thick enough to work. I loose several inches of lift when the seat deflates. For now, I guess I will just keep pumping up the seat every three days and wait for the weather.

2016 Transit Connect XLT passenger van. Every three days or so my drivers side seat leaks air and has to be pumped up. Does anyone know of a fix? I talked to a local Ford dealer and they want $150 to diagnose the problem plus hourly cost to repair the air bag. The bag lifts the seat up and has a pump handle on the left side. Gets to be a little frustrating.

As a Transit owner who's backup camera has stopped working, this forum was really a lot of help.. NOT

I just purchased a used 2016 Transit Connect LWB passenger version. Selling my beloved Chevy Astro van after 15 years and 165,000 miles. Haven't driven the TC more than fifty miles yet, but so far I believe it will fit all my needs. Took out the third row seats to gain more floor space. Any worries I should have? The vehicle has 30,000 miles on it. Clean Car Fax. Thanks..
