  1. Yes-I had the same exact problem--I tried to explain your experiences to the service tech at the dealer--he did not believe me and also said the computer memory did not show overheating--SO-after 4 trips to the dealer-once-"could not duplicate problem"--twice-"replaced fans"--third-"no problem"-and forth"we replaced the fuse-we should have noticed before"--the car is fine It's too bad they don't like to listen-I am not a slouch mechanically, but I am not a service advisot--still love the car!
  2. I sat at the mexican border waiting to cross-the AC got warm, then I looked at the temp guage and it was on H-I got through quickly-fortunately, then sped on the fwy for a few mile when the guage went back to normal-the fluids were fine--any ideas why this happened-I think the electric radiator fan(s) did not work?
  3. OK-on the other side-I have a 2010 that I would like to upgrade with the rear windows and fog lights-is that possible, and what about the cost?
  4. Ed-do you know if the 2011 3rd row rear windows can be retrofitted to a 2010 XLT? thank you
  5. Does anyone know, or have experience fitting 3rd row windows to a 2010 TC XLT-ala Toreno. Will the 2011 windows retrofit?
  6. I don't know about rail dust, since I took delivery of my TC in Los Angeles area-they come in by ship at Port Hyneme(sp) near by. My whole roof was covered by rust spots, which were rubbed out and clear coated by Fuller Ford in Chula Vista. They blamed it on 'industrial pollution'-is the problem with the paint/-my TC is silver.
  7. I agree with your conversion factor; however, 6000 plus pounds towing capacity just does make any sense. My interpretation of the european chart is : towing limit (2840 kg) minus gross vehicle weight (2040 kg) = 800 kg. 800 kg times 2.2 lbs/kg = 1760 lbs. This sounds realistic to me.
