  1. Okay so here's some thoughts on the tcw, first off fords fit and finish is very poor on this vehicle, this vehicle was definitely not engineered properly. many of the body moldings fender to bumper etc. have extremely poor fit, there is many gaps and misalignments throughout the body, some that can't be corrected like where the two fenders made the front bumper on all TCW. The interior plastic panels, you're not only poor quality but have fit issues also, i'm finding that the plastic is very fragile, as the glove box and the rear fuse box cover plastic tabs have already broke off. The badges on liftgate and the aluminum trim on rear bumper are coming off delaminating clear plastic. The front windshield has the option of quick clear. I purchased this option without understanding what it was now that I have it an aweful option, there are tons of vertical wires running the whole width of the front window during most of the day it's not an issue but sometimes during certain times of day the light reflects off these wires and all the wires become very visible and distracting especially at night where all lights sparkle across the wires causing huge distractions. I can't believe they allow this feature in USA. Had i looked this vehicle over as well as I have now before I purchased it I would've passed. You will not believe how chintzy this vehicle is. It is definitely not build to be durrable! The good, is the feeling you get when you sit inside it. It's very roomy, drives very nice, has a unique look.
  2. I had dealer power wires ran to rear of cargo area, there is a junction block for anything, inverter or whatever! 8gauge wire so no problem running microwave... Also looking at buying 2-1/2 thick foam pool float to serve as mattress over the folded seats, Camping and ocasional nights out? Mabye
  3. Global Open/Close Is "Remote Windows" Feature Not Listed on Window Sticker, Love This Feature. However Gas Milage Is Aweful! If you sit with car running you can almost watch the gas gauge go down! Cant believe my eyes! The mpg readout does go down as you sit!

  7. Im at the dealer now! THEY JUST TURNED ON GLOBAL OPEN AND CLOSE DOORS! WOOOOHOOOOO. ALL WINDOWS UP/ and down BY FACTORY REMOTE,,! AWSOME!
  8. Tomorrow is my first day with the service department I will keep you informed and let you know how things go. Then I have to go to the alarm company and have them fix the alarm
  9. Okay so I just picked up the car today I can't believe the dealer ford is so awful when it comes to customer service, I actually had to detail the car myself in the back because they wouldn't do a Goodnuf job. Service department told me there's no way I'll see attack in one day so I had to reschedule everything for its first visit. The aftermarket alarm is all wired wrong or at least program wrong every time you open or close the doors the alarm goes on and off if you hit the unlock buttons it goes on and off. So let's get to the car there were some scratches on the front bumper that are gonna have to be painted, the fit and finish to the rear bumper and rear lights is awful, the front hood corners are misaligned,im missing the battery so let's get to the car there were some scratches on the front bumper that are gonna have to be painted, the fit and finish to the rear bumper and rear lights is awful, the front hood corners are misaligned, I missing the battery box cover, the Front wiper blades had to be replaced from sitting so long. The hitch company ran wires very poorly for the car so I had to redo them. The salesman huffed at me when I told him he had to refill the gas tank full before I took the car being that I'm just getting it delivered today. On the drive home the front windshield finally caught my eye, I have the heated windshield and I didn't notice this before but there are fine wires running the whole length of the window vertically and insert lite conditions its very bad , Almost to the point where you can't see clearly through the window like the windows hazed . I only live 18 miles away from the dealer, and when I got home the gas gauge was already starting to read lower than full! I had the front and rear air conditioner maxed out and driving home it 55 miles an hour the car never got ice cold. I spent the whole night putting a special code of liquid glass car protected all over the vehicle including door jams and under the hood, I spent the whole night putting a special code of liquid glass car protected all over the vehicle including door jams and under the hood and everywhere else I could. My hands are cramping right now and locking up and starting to lock up they say this is a small van but there is a lot of area to wax. It's sad to say this but on this particular vehicle the Ford transit connect, fortes fit and finish is really really bad. There are so many spots that I would complain about but, it's sad to say this but on this particular vehicle the Ford transit connect, fortes fit and finish is really really bad. There are so many spots that I would complain about but all the other vehicles on the lot are just like that.
  10. Here are some more pics.... The big issue with the delay right now with the alarm installer is the fact that Ford is using control modules in each door for the one touch features the viper alarm system is meant to connect to old-school wiring in the drivers door only, the only option is to run wires to each door ,which is a big issue because of the sliding doors. The viper alarm system I chose is a two-way paging alarm with remote start automatic rollup windows. I'm going to try to see if the dealer can turn on the global closing feature since my tag list my vehicle is having remote windows. If they can't then I am fully capable of getting the software and turning it on myself at a later date. The more I look at the car the more I realize how expensive my vehicle was it's one of the upper range vehicles on the lot the only more expensive vehicles were the high-end trucks at 45 to 55,000 . I would've went with the 2015 but I was told that they didn't have any that they couldn't get any after I had signed all the paperwork within the next couple days I found out that they were available nearby in Orlando. It's too late to change the contract now is they started working on the car already so im stuck with an old year. I have unique uses for this vehicle I do powered paragliding, model aircraft and drones, and live near the ocean so maybe fishing or boating or kayaking. I also want to use the large area as a hangout, by putting the second row seats down reclining the third row seats and maybe putting a movie theater system in the car to chill out would be a cool place.
  11. Okay for now I have purchased the brand-new 2014 transit connect in white, I just purchased it may 16th 2015 with 0 miles, it's getting a hitch and hitch wiring, both front windows are being tented as dark as possible and still legal, viper alarm system with remote start and window rollup when locked, however there's been a problem with the install because Ford has door modules for each door to allow global opening, so we tested the global opening and yes, with the factory keyfob you however there's been a problem with the install because Ford has door modules for each door to allow global opening, so we tested the global opening and yes can roll the windows down, but the factory disabled the option to roll up the windows when locked with factory key. There is an aftermarket program called focus that you can use your laptop and going to your body control module and turn this function on I plan to do this shortly after I take delivery of the car. All the paperwork and financing is been done the car is mine were just waiting for the dealer to deliver the car finished. The price of my vehicle was $33,605 ! It has every option you can possibly get for this vehicle. When they deliver the vehicle I still have to look it over and make sure there's no scratches dents dings and anything else that might need to be taken care of and documented before I take delivery of the car. The transit emblem is starting to come off, the wiper blades are hard already from sitting, and a liftgate stop is broken. Im already regretting purchasing a two-year-old car as the 2016 just starting to come in .i'm not looking forward to six years of payments. I had just purchased a brand-new Honda CRZ last July and pay cash $20,000 and only has 14k on it but the dealer only gave me 14. i'm not looking forward to six years of payments. I had just purchased a brand-new Honda CRZ last July and pay cash $20,000 and only has 14.5k for trade in value, so still owe over 17k on my new 2014 transit connect titanium..... Ugh!
