Can’t change clock after aftermarket radio install
EmoMorales replied to EmoMorales's topic in Audio, Navigation and SYNC
Black tape………..done! -
My stock radio started making loud cracking, popping and rumbling today. Also seem to have hard time turning on and off. Did a master reset but problems still persist. If I keep the volume low it doesn’t do it. Anyone else have this problem?

2014 TC Ambient air temperature working intermittently
EmoMorales replied to EmoMorales's topic in Climate Control
I think it my be a bad connector. When I wiggle it after a few minutes the temperature will go back to normal. -
Having issues with my ambient air sensor. It is getting crazy readings nowhere near actual outside air temperature. I’ve replaced the sensor twice. The first time I replaced it it worked fine for a few months. It started acting weird again so I replaced it again thinking maybe it was just a bad sensor. Again the second sensor worked for a few months, now it’s acting simple again. Is anyone had this issue? If so what did you do to fix it?

i went back and forth with tire size...put the 18's on and never looked back. the ride was about the same. the truck rides like a tank regardless whether it was factory wheels or aftermarket .

Your Welcome, just trying to help. The Rims are 18 X 8 with a 42MM offset. The tires are 235/40R18 with a 25.4" Diameter. It also looks as if you can put a 235/45/18 with a 26.33" Diameter and a 225/45/18 with a 25.97" Diameter on that rim and still have room in the wheel wells. The original tires had 25.31 diameter with somewhere between 50MM and 53MM offset.

Aftermarket wheels for 2014 Transit Connect Wagon

Answered my own question; I put them on and they cleared everything suspension wise. The truck already had a rough ride before the rim change, but after it was like riding in a tank. you could feel every bit of the road. I took them off and put the factory ones back on. up to 18's is too much of a change -

I got a ladder rack from american van. Adrian steel also sells them. I get a little wind noise from it. I'm not sure if they sell luggage racks.

I did some checking on this. I went on tirerack.com and looked up 18 inch tires for the TC and the tires I have on the rims came up. The tires from the factory are rated 97/1602 lbs max each. The tires I have on the rims are rated 95/1502 lbs max each. The rims are 1600 lbs max each. The GVWR is 5270 lbs and the curb weight is 3618 lbs. looks like I'm good to go. as far as clearing the suspension I will try this weekend.
