  1. Hi, I have exactly the same experience as you! Always have serviced at Ford, Past 2 times, I checked when was a little overdo for service based on mileage and was almost a quart low (about 4/5 of the way down from top fill to bottom fill dots on the dip stick). I assumed that I might be losing some oil some how. So I am due for a service soon and decided to check to see if I was once again about a quart low. I am now actuially overfilled so the dealership doesn't know how much to put in and it seems may not be adding/checking/adding/checking to get it right by trial and error. I'm pretty pissed off. Am I doing damage by being over filled? When they fill low as I described, is that bad as well? Since I now know I can't count on getting a reliable fill from the dealer, I will check after a service. I will also ask if they know what they are doing. Ever since I have had this car, the dealers seem to know nothing because it comes from Europe. Every time there is a part specific question, they seem to know either nothing or very little. They certainly can't answer questions authoritatively. PS, when I was low, I spent about 15 minutes trying to get the specific oil weight recommended. Nothing. Door jam, nothing. Went and bought on assumption. Went to add, weight listed on the filler cap! Dumb me, but can't believe the manual has nothing. BTW, guessed wrong... Over an hour wasted on really simple stuff.
  2. I've had this happen to me in the past twice...and it just happened again. All 3 cases were due to cold temperatures. First 2 cases below 10 degrees F. This time, below 20 degrees F, so may be getting worse. Last night I had to take a trip with my kids and one didn't have a seat. Put heat on high for 30 minutes and seat back would release and be able to be raised. Will look to find this cable. Any way to post a picture? Anyone know a fix so that we don't have to put up with this crap? or spend money to replace with a seat that will do it again?
  3. My 2014 has a rubber strap near where the hood prop rod ends as it is laying in its resting position cross vehicle. It looks like it is supposed to help secure the prop rod but can't see a good way to secure it.
  4. I have a Red LWB Titanium, Sync/Sat, dual zone climate, cornering fog lamps, quickclear and roof rails. Just got it a month ago after a university student pulled in front of me a totaled my Honda Fit. I really wanted a blue with vista roof, mid vehicle overhead storage, my touch but selection was so limited because the pipeline is not filled and I needed wheels sooner than a 3 month order window. I really wanted family cargo space and now I've got it! Love the vehicle so far. Has done well in a very snowy Michigan. Quickclear is great but not so good at -5 F....That's ok, neither am I. I keep checking local inventory for my dream spec...don't know why..the ship has sailed!
