The 2014 Ford C-MAX Hybrid has been named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for the second consecutive year. Ford China sales continued to grow in July, with 90,775 vehicles sold, an increase of 25 percent from 72,834 sold in July 2013. Steady customer demand for Ford’s global nameplates pushed year-to-date sales to 640,031 vehicles, up 33 percent from 480,555 sold during the same period last year. View the full article

Ford Motor Company today announced details on new development techniques used to create its all-new Mustang and F-150, originating with the automaker’s suppliers. Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute’s Get Your Heart Racing program will be the beneficiary when a 50 Year Limited Edition 2015 Ford Mustang, No. 1,964, crosses the block at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction in late September. Ford Motor Company U.S. sales of 212,236 vehicles increased 10 percent over a year ago for the best July in eight years. Retail sales of 162,028 vehicles are up 7 percent. Ford Sales analyst, Erich Merkle, says Ford and Lincoln had positive gains last month. View the full article

Ford India sold 15,282 vehicles in combined domestic wholesales and exports in July, a 24% increase from 12,338 vehicles sold in the corresponding month last year. July exports grew to 7,690 vehicles from 4,471 vehicles a year ago, while domestic wholesales remained steady at 7,592 units compared to 7,867 units sold in July last year. View the full article
