I am installing a new head unit with a component speakers set and an amp in a 2012 TC this weekend and had a few questions. The speaker wires in the doors are a baby blue and white. I am assuming that white is positive and I think I read that some one tested that with a battery. Just wanted to see if anyone else could confirm that.
Second question. The stereo I am installing has the ability to connect to the steering wheel control unit. Does anyone know what wire that is on the factory harness? I have read mixed information. Some people say you will need an adapter, others say you can tap into a single wire. Has anyone done this?
If I can't figure it out, not a big deal. I will post install pics when I finish hopefully tomorrow.
