Hello, I recently installed new speakers in the doors of my 2010 XLT, and am happy with the improvemnt. Now I want to add an amp under the passenger seat and speakers in the rear door. I pulled the radio out and notice their are outputs on the back of the head unit but no wires leadinginto the harness. If I can find and adapter or plugs to add wires to the existing harness would this work? Does anyone know of a source that i can find one of these? I have read that the fader function dosen't work even though you hook up to these tabs. Would i have to tap into the front speaker lines to get signal to my amp? thanks for any help.... scott

Just wondering if anyone has gone about installing some type of fog lite in the recessed holes in the front bumper. It doesn't look like the black plastic piece comes out easily and i would like to install some type of lite in that space. I have a Blue XLT and was thinking of a blue fog lamp. Any help would be great...

Thanks, I've been exploring the idea of putting in Anchor points to hang a suspension mat for a bed. Kicking around ideas. I like the floor mounts rings - i might just get two more of those and anchor into the posts.. s -

Great Idea. I was thinking of doing a collapsible sleeping rack in the same fashion. How did you anchor your rack? Scott -

thanks for the search. ever since i got my TC I've been looking at those rims and wondering if their was a better option. Sold my old explorer and used the money to get the msr's. Now what else can i change....... -
I'm thinking of doing the same type of thing. Just wondering if i can get enough juice off of the power lead to the light assy to run the gps/phone charger/ etc. Instead of running and additional lead. I would like to have it switched off with the ignition though.

Saw a note in your thread that you were considering adding an amplifier and speakers. Have you done so and what recommendations do you have. I would like to bump it up a little and have music in the rear of the vehicle. scooot

Hello Everyone, finally got my TC a month ago - only waited 5 months , but who's counting. Well no that i have it i can't wait to drill a bunch of holes and turn it into a vehicle that suits my needs. I plan on using for mixed use, camper/toy hauler on the weekend (and trips) and handyman during the week. And i was wondering if anyone has looked at the truck/van tents out there and if one would fit the TC. Would like to hear about your camping related modifications as well. I bought the van tech roof rails and installed them so i can use of my Yakima stuff. That went fairly well. Didn't car for drilling 4 extra holes in the roof, but i can understand why they want that change. I am also thinking about putting a switched 12v outlet on the tray above the driver, so i can run a gps, rechargenable flashlight, etc. Anybody do this? thanks for any advice you have and have a great holiday season. scooot

Just wondering why you would want to run a TC that fast to begin with? s
