Update on the spare wheel support bracket for my 2013 XLT Ford Transit Connect. Well I thought I was being smart and ordered the spare tire holder and safety chain from Ford OEM parts. I ordered one that said 2014 and up, but it looked the same in the picture. It is not and did not fit the spare tire wheel, it was just a little too big. I took the advice here and went to a local pick and pull and found a 2012 with a not bad looking spare wheel holder and safety chain, which I took off and it FITS. Sorry no pictures, I was so excited that I put it on without showing side by side pics. The Gen 2 spare tire holder is not the same as Gen 1, so I have a new one (2014 and up) for sale if anyone needs it. Thanks to you all for your thoughts. Sammie

Thanks for the information and yep I found that but this is what is there. Something is missing! Besides the tire! Thanks, any ideas how to fix?
