Blue TC

Custom light bar and tie-down bracket
2. From the album: Blue TC

Behind the bar's mounting bolts are a pair of machined aluminum round rods that are in turn bolted to the bumper frame.
3. From the album: Blue TC
The lamp wires pass through the grille to the battery and relay, with a switch wire threaded through the firewall to the turn-signal stalk. It's all part of the PIAA kit, which is high quality and easy to install.
4. From the album: Blue TC
I machined a custom light bar and tie-down bracket for my TC. The bracket is made of aluminum plate, rod and angle. It is powder coated with stainless fasteners. The backside has a pair of marine stainless eyelets for tie-downs; they are very useful when transporting boats on the rack. The lights are PIAA model 510 driving lamps.
5. Hello, I need to connect a power wire from the TC's high beam circuit to a pair of driving lights. Can anyone point me to the correct wire under the hood? Many thanks! Jon
6. Hello, Can anyone tell me where to pass a wire from the TC engine compartment to the dashboard? I am hooking up some driving lights and need to run a switch wire to the turn signal stalk. Thanks! Jon
7. Thank you! That is the answer. Much appreciated. Jon
8. Hi all, I'm a new TC owner in Seattle. I've discovered that under those plastic caps on the front bumper are some nice threaded bolt holes, which I would like to use for tie-downs. Anybody know the size and thread? My well-stocked local hardware store didn't have anything close, metric or inch. The Ford dealer is clueless. The holes appear to have something like an acme thread profile, where the thread has a flat top and bottom. Thanks! JS
