Hi, few strange things happened lately. First I left side lights on when got out of van and the battery drained dead in about 4 hours. The battery was on it's last legs anyway so I bought a new one. Fitted it... Van started, I drove off, after about 5 minutes the ABS and handbrake lights were coming on and it wanted to cut out all the time. Keeping revs high stopped it doing so. I got to my destination where I had to crack on with work. I thought I'd need a lift home but tried Van anyway. Started and cut out straight away once then started fine and ticked over, reversed out and drove fine for about 5 minutes again then started to do the same abs and hand brake light, and wanted to cut out. Got it home, going up my hill it seemed to be down on power at times and then the power kicked back and it flee up the hill like it usually does. Parallel parking and it cut out twice doing so, parked up and it's been sat her idling fine for approx 20 minutes. Any ideas? Cheers

Hi, my 2 rear barn doors won't unlock either key or fob. The driver and passenger are fine in one click, 2 clicks the front and passenger open and side door but back doesn't then they lock again straight away unless open one of the doors. Pressing just to open the back two doors the same happens, side unlocks rear doesn't. Anything that it usually is? Thanks

Hi, 56 plate mk1 won't start in the cold. Failed the other day, battery ran to flat. Went and bought a starter packsmd it started a bit later on when not as cold. Left running for a bit. Came to start her today and same again, turning over but not catching. Have put battery pack on but still won't start in the cold. New glow plugs? Also what CCA should the battery have?

Haven't had heat for about 2 years now but each year I get older the more I feel the cold and the condensation is really doing my head in now! I need to know, please, where are the pipes going to the heater matrix so I can check there is actually hot air going to the matrix. I'm pretty sure it's the cables connected to the console that are snappped. I've taken the knob off the centre console and put it directly on the heater box in foot well and there is no resistance, it spins on its own if I leave it go. Is this something I can acccess to 'yank' the cable to make it blow warm? Thanks

Gi, got this to fit after changing the vac pump. Screw end goes into vac pump, I know that. Other end seems to disappear up to top of engine towards dash? Thanks

Hi, I've had a water leak for a week or two, getting worse. Think it's from the water pump, drips directly below header tank. I've got a pump on order to fix but just got home now and the battery light came on for last 2 minutes of journey and had no power steering. The belt usually squeals now and again, guessing when water drops on to it. Is it possible the belt slipping has resulted in alternator not charging the battery? Thanks

Did you fix this with pliers? Mine only blows to feet, have put console knob directly on the heater box in driver's footwell but it will not turn on either the direction or the hot/cold

Hi, temp gauge was dropping so I changed the thermostat but it still behaves exactly the same? What else could cause that?

Anybody fitted a diesel heater in the cab? Under the passenger seat or something? Space looks tight but is it doable? Cheers
