K9 Cargo
I have a 2010 Ford Transit Connect XLT with 30,000 miles. Small chunks of rubber were starting to peel back on original Continental tires, so I was quite worried about tire failure on the highway. I looked at the Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max, the Arizonian Silver Edition and the Michelin Defender. I decided to pony-up the extra hundred or so extra bucks for the Michelins. WOW!! I made a good decision. The difference in handling and road noise is absolutely amazing. I can not believe how much nicer my Transit Connect rides on these tires. These tires make such a dramatic difference in how the van takes bumps and dips. It feels like I have upgraded the shocks. I'll report fuel economy after a trip to Houston (460 miles round trip). Flemming Rose
Does the Michelin have the same load rating as the OEM?
