CDX825
Hey guys I am having problems with my 2011 Ford transit connect. Went to start it the other day and it cranked over and started for a few seconds then stalled. After that I attempted to restart it but it wouldn't even crank over. Tried jumping the starter with the key in the run position and it cranks but no start. Ended up messing around some more with it and found out that the pcm relay is not engaging. Relay is 21D in the fuse box under the hood. Relay test fine so I pulled it and put a jumper in its place to see what would happen. Was able to get the van to start and run at that point. No check engine lights on the dash or anything. Looking at the schematic the pcm controls that relay. I'm just trying to figure out what tells the pcm to switch that relay on and what would possibly be wrong.
