818TC2010
My name is Edgar. I have a 2010 TC xlt. About 10 days ago I noticed the alternator wire was barely connected. The end was charred. I cut the charred part and it was working good. Couple days later i started the car and about 20 seconds later everything turned off and came back on 1 Second later. The alternator shorted out and never charged afterwards. I have installed 3 alternators and none are charging. The battery is 1 month old and Fully charged. About 10 seconds after starting the engine, the battery light comes on. I check with a voltmeter and the voltage is at 11.9 I did a continuity test from back of alternator to the fuse box and it’s good. Have checked most fuse under the hood. Is there a relay or fuse that I have overlooked or a fuse link?????
