Electric Door locks going haywire!

Need Help in figuring out this problem of 2013 Transit Connect door locks not functioning properly!

Just at the beginning of March/April the driver side sliding door lock would not open no matter what I tried.

The only way to open it was to move all the gear away & to manually turn the small dial at the back of door from the inside

& then come around from the drivers door & reach in & pull the front lever. The child lock is not on! But as soon as I lock

the vehicle the door would not open again (sometimes it would open if I drove for a bit & sometimes it would not open again

electronically - only the time consuming manual way). Then in July all the locks (except the rear doors) started doing strange things.

In the morning I would unlock the doors & the side one would unlock - except for the drivers side sliding door. Then when I would lock

the doors some days they would lock and then quickly unlock. It seems when it is cooler I don't have this trouble (except for the door that still won't unlock)

and when it is a hot temp in the day I have much trouble with the doors.

Now it seems like one hour I have no problem & the next hour if I lock the doors while standing I'm on the drivers side - the driver's door locks

but the passenger's side doors do not. So then I come to the passenger side & click the key to lock & sometimes the passenger sliding door will lock, but

the regular passenger will not and at the same time the drivers regular door would unlock. So then it takes about 4 to 6 tries of going back & forth

to try and lock all the doors. Lately it has been like that but now it seems that to finally lock the non- sliding doors I have to manually insert the key to

lock them And on top of that sometimes when I do that on the driver side then the passenger side will unlock.

After the problem first started, I did replace one relay module (that's designated as rear unlock relay - but there are no other relays that say anything for front doors etc.)

The problem continued even after replacing that relay.

Also when the problem first started the indicator lights would blink correct if all the doors did lock & they would not blink if the doors did not lock.

Now it seems the lights do not blink at all, one way or the other.

Also lately when I get in the car to drive off the dashboard indicates that a door is open but they are all closed. To shut the indicator off it seems

I have to open and shut my drivers door a few times & then the indicator shuts off.

I took my car to a one dealer and two other repair shops (that came recommended by friends as being excellent) but they want me to remove all my gear before they start

any work on the doors. That makes it hard to continue my regular work & then I lose jobs that way. None of the shops had ever heard of this problem.

When I did a search about Transit Connect doors not working I did find a YouTube Video for a 2012 Connect that was having some similar problems but they

had no repair tips on what to do.

I have searched for repair manuals online but there are so many but not sure which one to get that would give me

the right way to figure out the repair and to give me the right part numbers to order.

I've tried the Ford website for parts & but in the vin number to get the correct parts - but it seems that some of those

parts show they work for different year models.

I need help.
