Joeseabee Posted July 27, 2020 Share Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) Good Morning Connect addicts, Just bought a used 2012 Connect. The engine was replaced @ 32,000 miles by Ford and now has 148,000. She was a Maryland Connect used by an Elevator company from 2012 to 2017. She ended up in East Tennessee via auction. A new fusebox and wiring harness was replaced in 2018. Just two issues: the driver side lock can't unlock and I get the famous P0420 code. Maybe a oil pan leak... Trans seems to work. Fluid change in progress and I changed the engine oil over to AMSOIL 5W20 with an AMSOIL Filter. Air filter is changed. The dealer required title, insurance, and ID just to get a Key made for her and refused to give me the key code without filling another affidavit.. I bought a new lock and Pinterest how to read the key. Lock is assembled and next is to drill out the lock. I have no Locksmiths near me and the one I did find that claimed he had a Tibbe cutter refuse to take my call after asking for help. I look forward meeting all of you here in interspace...
