I have tried several fully charged batteries without any joy. What can I do to solve this problem? Is the starter motor or solenoid seized? How easy is it to free these components? 103west43rd Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Hello dbarr2, "A few months" is the key to your problem, at least it would be if you were in the US. It is an easy fix so try it. Here in the US, if the Transit Connect is not started for over 50 days, the engine management computer is programmed to shut down! The fix is to remove your battery for over 2 minutes, then re-connect it. That resets the timer on the computer. Give it a try and good luck!
