dreamweaver Posted July 13, 2016 Share Posted July 13, 2016 Just picked up my 2016 TC yesterday and I tried out the navigation for the first time. My normal commute consists of fast highways in a rural area where traffic is minimal. I turned on the nav for my return trip home and it kept trying to send me off onto small secondary roads which I never take because they are slow and windy. I think my sales rep set the nav preference to "shortest route" when he was walking me through the electronics. So I was looking at my owner's manual to see what other setting might keep me on the faster highways and it listed "fastest route" and "eco route" without really explaining them. Does anyone know how these settings try to optimize time and MPGs? I'm guessing I want to be in "fastest route" but I'm curious how fastest and eco work. Any ideas?
