travelinmic Posted April 28, 2016 Share Posted April 28, 2016 Hello Transit Connect Forum, I am new to the Ford vehicles. I so far love the Transit Connect Van, (mine is a wagon model LWB) I have grans kids to haul around beside what I use the Van for. I am a Dj and haul lots of equipment around. I enjoy having all the space I need to load and unload the equipment. The ride is good and the fuel milage is what I expected. The only problems I am experiencing is the sync system does not work all the time, more not working , than working, and the harsh down shift in the transmission at highway speeds going up hills? I have contacted the dealer and they stated nothing wrong with the transmission, I have invited the tech to take a ride with me and he stated he could not be gone that long, so here we are waiting for it to act up so I can show him that there is something going on in the transmission.
