Currently built in Turkey on a version of the Euro Focus platform, the next generation Transit will also migrate to the FWD compact platform that will underpin the next Focus both hear and abroad. InTransit Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 The current platform is not a car platform but rather a dedicated heavy duty truck platform (at least that's what all the press releases say from last year's auto show intro in Detroit).
