Hi forum,

I am the owner of Turbo Transformer - a plug-N-play boost chip for ecoboost 4-cyl engines (among several other platforms). I was at my friendly Ford dealer looking at Transit vans and was delighted to find that they have a ecoboost engine in them.

The very first modification to any turbo car should be turning up the boost - period. Currently, several Fiesta ST/SFE, Focus ST and several Hyundai Genesis Turbo Coupes are running with this add-on power chip with good results.

Here are a few videos that summarize what it is and how it works -

Powerchips have a bad reputation generally because they don't do anything. But turbo cars are different - in this case, such a chip is a perfectly legitimate option. And when a tune is not available for your vehicle, such as a Cobb or SCT, this may be your only option if you want a few extra psi from your ecoboost. Furthermore, a direct download to your engine controller will leave a trail (for lack of a technical description) and your warranty may come into question if the dealer sees multiple downloads or a non-Ford file flashed.

I worked on my design for almost a year and it finally went for sale in July 2014. I have mainly focused on the Focus and the Fiesta ST/ SFE platforms since these were the earliest ecoboosts for which I could find a fitting connector. I am thrilled to see many other Ford models with the 4 cylinder ecoboost engines.

I am not sure what the rules are for advertising on this forum but I didn't see a Vendors section here. I would like an admin to contact me with Vendor package information. I hope to work with some (or all) of you here in the coming months. I look forward to any feedback or suggestions.
