fiedav
Hi, I'm from Mass, though born and lived 43 years in Britain. I've been in a wheelchair for the last five years and can't stand or walk. I was looking for a handicapped van, and the options appear to be minivans with dropped floors - around $50-60,000. I was hoping that the TC, with a low floor, would make a good van at a low price. Right now I need measurements of the current TC and the new one. Specifically: Height of rear and side door sill. Floor to top of windows. Height and width of side door. Anyone with any experience of TC as a handicapped van? I wouldn't be driving it, so all I'd be looking for is to get into the back of the van (behind the seats) and be able to see out. Thanks in advance, Dave.
Nyvideo
Search the forum, I've seen a few threads about it along with pictures of ramps.
103west43rd
Hello fiedav. Here is the URL for the Transit Connect Body Builders Guide. https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas/topics/2010/2010_Transit_Connect.pdf . It was posted years ago by a forum member iselford. It contains all the info you asked for. Edited August 10, 2013 by 103west43rd
