toadfish01 Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Hi everybody, I have a ford transit connect 07 and I have an issue with the dashboard / radio. this is what happens.... The engine management light will light up, the battery light will be on sometimes together, sometimes the battery light will be on and the airbag light will be dimly lit. , the abs & brake light can then flash on and off together then the dials will fail, (speedo, rev counter & radio will fail) the radio will sometimes sound fuzzy and crackly, the engine will feel sluggish which I have been told could be the egr valve, (common fault). this is a regular occurrence but that said sometimes it won't happen for a few days. SO ANNOYING....... I have been told the alternater is charging at 15v but cant get the garage to check the other issues as it is so temprimental. Any ideas will be welcome. many thanks.
