Every now and then the back up camera will glitch and provide a image that is unusable with washed out/blurry colors. It seems to only occur at night but I am not 100% certain. I've tried turning off my lights but that doesn't seem to affect the glitch. Usually the problem goes away the next time I start the car. Any ideas on what's going on? hkrgal Posted September 1, 2025 Share Posted September 1, 2025 I have the same problem. I have a 2016 Ford Transit Connect XLT Passenger Van also. The problem began a few years ago, and it has just gotten worse. When I back up, most of the time the screen turns mostly black and basically becomes unusable.
