    Anyone else struggle with brightness on the backup cam? In lower light situations or at night it's fine, but on a bright sunny days the display can be tough to make out. Hoping the solution is as simple as a general display brightness adjustment that somehow I've missed. I've got a 2018 XL.

    I just installed a new stereo (JVC-KW-V30BT) with a backup camera (EchoMaster). On the back of the head unit there is a purple wire with a white stripe on it that says it should be connected to the reverse lamp harness. This connection allows for the stereo to automatically switch to the reverse camera when the vehicle is shifted into Reverse. The purple/white wire is about 6 inches long. Can someone please help me locate the "reverse lamp harness" and the proper wire to connect this too. Thanks.
