When turning on A/C recently heard and felt a thump or knocking noise in passenger side. If I leave A/C on and turn there car off, I hear the thump when I start the vehicle. Today, A/C decided not to cool for 5-10 min then thumped on. 14 FTC titanium with 59k, a bit early for A/C compressor to die?!? Will test pressure and leak check, any other ideas would be helpful, the compressor is not cheap?!?

Has anyone else had this issue. I have a 2013 Ford Transit Connect. I just bought it used. It has a deal where the interior light and door open sensor go off randomly and not so randomly. All doors are indeed closed. All door sensors have been greased and double checked. I think i have narrowed it down to the driver side door making the problems occur. It sometimes does the beeping fiasco when I take a right turn, or if the a/c is on full blast. Also it sometimes goes off when I hit bumps. I really like the car and hope that I can get it fixed. Also, the ABS light has come on and has stayed on along with the stability control light. any ideas? -
the A/C in the 2011 transit connect quit working. I brought it by my mechanic and he checked it out. after three days of working on this and doing research on the vehicle, he told me that there is no reason why it should not be working. He told me that I would need to bring it to the dealer and have them check it. He had meantioned that the A/c system could be controled by the computer. He checked all relays, fuses, pressure in the system and all checks good. Is there any chance that the computer in the van controls the A/C in any way?
