  1. Yea I think that is what I will end up doing. Its going into the garage in a few weeks time to have the lowering springs and dampers removed (the ride is just to firm for UK roads) so I will ask them to have a look at it then. I will let you know what the outcome is, Chhers, Aaron.
  2. I have a 2013 gen 2 tourneo connect, right hand drive and when parking today I had my foot on the footrest next to the clutch (near to centre console) and I noticed if I was stationary or moving slowly forward or backwards I can feel somthing moving/ grinding under the carpet in the foot well. There is no knocking noise or vibration up through the wheel just what I can feel with my foot. I am guessing it has somthing to do with the stearing colum as it's only when turning the wheel. And it is not noticeable when turning at speed just when parking etc. I haven't pulled the carpet back to see what is there yet but I thought I would give the forum a go first to see if anyone had any previous knowledge of this? Thanks in advance, Aaron.
  3. Cheers for the link but when I click it it just takes me to the websites home page. The pic bellow is the ones I am looking to buy.
  4. I'm after a bit of advice I have a 2013 Tourneo connect gen 2, I'm currently running focus ST wheels 235/45 r18 on my TC with it lowered on the modmyconnect springs and gaz air dampers. I don't have any problems with clearance or rubbing but I find the ride is just to harsh for where I am. I'm looking to put the stock springs and dampers back on and run and run steel wheels with 215/65 r16 AT tyres. I'm fairly confident that the wheels I need are 6.5jx16 ET50 5x108. However when searching on ebay for these wheels and putting my car model in it comes up that they don't fit that car. I just want to make sure I'm right before taking the plunge and ordering them. Cheers, Aaron. (pics are before it was lowered) 9925446816062521746.HEIC 16890758133591251025.HEIC
  5. I have been thinking over the past few weeks about putting the stock springs and dampers back on my TC. It has the modmyconnect lowering springs front and back and the gaz rear dampers. On nice flat roads the ride is spot on and cornering is a lot flatter. However I live in the uk countryside and 90% of the roads round me a more pot holes than road and far from nice and flat. I find that the suspension is just to stiff for this and it bounces from hole to hole with rather loud thumps as it bottoms out. I have seen some of you running the 215 65 r16 AT wheels and was thinking of doing the same as a lot of my driving is on farm tracks and in the forest, and I doubt they would fit with the lowering kit on. Then I was thinking with the new TC active range out with a higher ride hight, could the gear from the active range be retro fitted to a standard connect? Has anyone done this or know if it would work and if you had part numbers that he amazing but I'm prob pushing my luck there ? Cheers, Aaron.

Just a quick hello, I'm a new member to the forum from the UK. I have a 2014 tourneo connect, lowered front and back with gaz rear dampers on ST wheels. I'm interested to know if anyone has any good info on the new active range that they have brought out? I am tempted to see if the higher ride height can be retro fitted to normal models? Cheers, Aaron. 16890758133591251025.HEIC 14440942389181326241.HEIC 9925446816062521746.HEIC
