Recently had the battery disconnected and now my radio needs the code, when I bought the van it didnt come with a manual or anything like that. Any ways to get around having to pay a dealership for a code? standard ford radio in a 56 plate connect

It's been brought to my attention that when i turn my side lights and also my main beams on my brake lights come on too, and brighter than when i hit the brakes driving with no lights. Anyone else had this trouble?
