Malibu

My 2010 Ford Transit Connect's left side parking lights and left tail light blows the 7.5A fuse as soon as I turn them on via switch or when they are triggered with remote unlock. Does anyone know of any common places where this short circuit can occur? I've looked around and pulled the bulbs and connectors a bit but have not found anything. It seemed to have started after installing a some license plate lights, but those seem unrelated...
