Very old thread here but thought I would give an update....after almost five years of messing with the software off and on, I finally got the Diesel running and working properly. Huge props to the guys at Forscan, as without it, I would never have a running van! The latest release of software included new security tools for this model that allowed me to do a PATS reset and sync all the modules. After that, the car started right up. I may have shed a tear! Everything now is just as if it were originally built the way it is from the factory. The only issue I have is that I cannot figure out cruise control as it also requires a configuration in the PCM besides the BCM and the IPC. If anyone knows the HEX code and address for that on the PCM, I would be grateful to know! Unfortunately I do not get the 50mpg that some claim in England but do get around 38mpg average around town and "driving with traffic" on the highway. I think our highway speeds here are much faster than in England and the gallon is a bit bigger there. I am still very happy with the performance of the little oil burner!
I also added a second row of seats from a Grand C-MAX (drivetrain donor) that can be configured as a bench or captains. This allows me to haul my bikes and also have three rear seats. I added a wheel stop right behind the center console as well. I also fabricated a baseplate that is compatible with my roadmaster tow bar so I can easily tow behind my motorhome.
It was a lot of work and I do not recommend to anyone but in the end I got what I wanted so I guess it was worth it!
