Did you ever sort this out? Mine is doing it currently.

2014 tc lift gate will randomly not actuate. A day or An hour or so later will sometimes identify the open command and pop on its own. Seems like ecm issue. Thinking about disengaging from ecm and jumping in a power source to make an override.... No codes ever. and no circuit problems when operational. Stumped???
