Looking for some help and advice please - we have a 66 plate Transit Custom that suddenly went into limp mode and could only be driven at max 50mph. Very shortly afterwards (approx 10 miles) a strange noise appeared for a few seconds which was similar to a whirring of a pump/turbo/fan and then complete loss of power. The van was towed back to the dealership and they found that the engine had completely seized and the turbo was dead. This van has only covered 115k miles and hasn’t yet reached its 3 year anniversary.
Does anyone have any experience of this fault or could help guide me to the cause?
