Does anyone know how to turn off the endless "alarms" that Ford is so fond of installing.
I don't need my vehicle to constantly remind me that I've unhooked my seatbelt, opened the door... or that my keys are in the ignition. It's maddening.
While I am on here, my 2013 Transit Connect idles low (around 700) and stalls after a sudden stop. The idle is so low that the whole van rattles while in park. I have had one mechanic (a really good one) tell me there is little that can be done because the idle is set by the computer.
Does anyone know what can can be done to take the idle up to 900 or 1000?
Thanks!
