Where is it safe to drill? Hi, everyone. I would like to install some D ring achors into the bed of my 2011 ford transit connect. I need them to strap down some heavy carpet cleaning equipment. I would like to install 4-6 total. 2 D ring anchors near each of the sliding doors. My question is where’s is it safe to drill at? I’ve crawled under the vehicle several times and don’t see any clear paths to drill. So I’m a bit afraid to attempt to install these.
