  1. Thanks - A couple of months later, I'm getting used to it. I actually think about it when I'm pulling up to junctions to position the car in a angle where I can see. I try and avoid U-turn intersections where I can.
  2. Hi everyone, I had what you might call a "fender bender" in the USA the other day, where I scraped up the whole side of the van. My van is a white base model, so has the black bumpers. I need both bumpers replaced, and some painting/dent removal done. I have it in the shop doing the dent work just now, but I'm thinking now is the time to put on a bodykit. I'm in Texas, and I don't think anyone in USA sells these, as the van scene is pretty dim - van's are seen as creepy LOL - it seems to be only in the UK (where I'm originally from) where they have street cred. Wondered if anyone could give me some advice on the following: 1. Is there any vendors in USA that stock bodykits for the 2016 Transit Connect - I couldn't find any on google. 2. I'm finding it difficult to find bodykit vendors in the UK even, that would have these things in stock with no lead time - best I've found is http://www.tradevanaccessories.co.uk/blog/ford-transit-connect-body-kit-soon-to-be-released/ 3. I'm looking for something which is only replacing front bumper, rear bumper and sill, and possibly a spoiler that would just bolt on and need painted. I'm not lowering the van and it's running on 17's so not looking to do any arch work. I still need to be able to go into a field now and then with it. I use the van for towing bikes for roadracing, and we often park in fields. I'd love to hear if anyone on this forum has done something similar to their van and if they have any strong recommendations on what I should look at. Thank you in advance. Rab
  3. Hi, I just bought a 2016 Ford Transit Connect van with the solid side doors. When I turn left at a junction, I can't see if there is anything coming, and as I'm 6ft4, it's tough to even reach forward enough to be able to see. I almost got hit by a car last night when I turned out to the left and couldn't see it. I've tried putting on a stick on aftermarket mirror, but it seems I need something completely different such as a huge mirror that fits onto the dashboard or such. I've googled looking for this and all I can find is aftermarket mirrors which solve blind spots when changing lanes. Any advice appreciated. Thanks, Rab
