We have a 2000 mid roof van we are converting to a camper. It only locks with keys - no fob with it. Is there a way to lock in from the inside once in the back? My hubby managed to at one stage with a screw driver into an orange plastic female receiver in the back inside edge of the sliding door, within the door lock mechanism. Has anyone known of a key or handle that goes in there to lock/unlock the sliding door from the inside?
Another problem we are having is that all doors lock with the key in the passenger door, except the driver door. The driver door doesn't lock at all. A new mechanism is way over the top price wise here in Australia, so some tips would be greatly appreciated.
