for the forum. i have encountered the mystery orum postedtransmission shut down on the highway after rebuilding the 4f27e. a quick cycle of the ignition while at speed made it go away i'll bet main engine relay or or transmission relay getting hot breaking contact. i will be checking ignition switch [mechanical not tumbler] and keep forum posted
