Has anyone found a better solution to this? I was told I couldn't order the rails on a custom order for an XLT wagon, but that appears to be a mistake. Now I'm stuck in the $500 per, plus installation. These are a must have for roof racks, hoping someone might have found a cheaper option.

For the front axle, definitely sticking with OEM diameter. It's the rear that I've been doing lots of research on going up about an inch diameter to allow for a tire that meets load bearing requirements. Without going up in diameter, there is no aftermarket 19" I can find that fits a tire to meet load bearing. So far, all I've read indicates this increase shouldn't effect much since it's the rear axle, but hadn't thought about the TPMS. How would it potentially effect it?

Of course, glad to share ideas! Thanks for tips on photos. Wheels are the tough part here, the 5x108 bolt pattern is rare, and the front will only take 18" to fit a few tires that meet the load ratings. I'm thinking to put a larger diameter 19" wheels on back though to stagger.

Just thought I'd say hi to this group! Finally got my 2014 XLT in after ordering in Feb and receiving Nov in Los Angeles county (took forever!). I'll be modifying the vehicle over the years, so far starting with a two tone satin black paint job on roof, hood, and those ugly grayish black window pillars. Ordered some TSW Rivage Wheels, and will pin stripe them orange over the silver/white.
