I recently upgraded to a much larger new vehicle and must sell my beloved Transit Connect. As the first and only owner, the my adventure van has served me well traveling the US with surfboards, bikes, and even a motorcycle once or twice.
Even if the Transit Connect lacks the get-up-and-go of V6-powered traditional minivans, it's still much better to drive, with sharper handling and an overall feel that makes you forget about the apartment's worth of space over your shoulder.
If you live in the city or frequently travel on tight rural roads, the Transit Connect will feel like an athlete compared to a traditional minivan. The Transit Connect could just as easily be a Ford Escape or Focus from the driver or front passenger seat. And that is because the Transit Connect is built on those platforms.
Till this day people gawk at her beauty and ask me what kind of car it is. Everyone loves it’s look and utilitarian features. Let's go over some of the details about this fine people and cargo mover.
-96,500O original MILES. This is less than the industry average of 15,000 miles per year. I know you've heard it a million times, but these miles were mostly on the highway as I used her for my photography business all over North America.
-I loved this car and did everything to make sure she would last. Therfore thisTransit Connect had the privilege of getting ROUTINE MAINTENANCE and I have the records to prov it. It's also up to date on its inspections, shots, and vaccines.
-TIRES Firestone WeatherGrip are only a few years old and have plenty of tread left. We get lots of snow in the Midwest and I wanted something that would get me through the mountains safely during road trips. WeatherGrip tires meet industry severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol which means you don’t need snow chains while traveling through Canada or on mountain passes out west in the winter.
-The BODY is in GOOD SHAPE for a car that has lived through 8 Chicago winters and a few grocery store parking lots. There are some battle scars scrapes on the rear fender from lost fights with a shopping carts and some “mysterious” object putting a small dent on the rear quarter panel as seen in the photos.
-I am NOT A SMOKER, and never let anyone smoke in my van.
-I removed the first and second row seats the day I bought her so they have never been used. Don’t worry, I put them back in. The INTERIOR is in great condition for its age. No rips, tears, or stains.
-I was the ONLY OWNER and it has a CLEAR TITLE.
-Clean CARFAX report except for two accidents that caused what CARFAX states as minor damage. One was from when a famous TV personality with bad parking skills scratched the side and the pother time was from me knocking the mirror of while trying to park in my garage during a snow storm. This was the reason why I bought the prior mentioned snow rated tires.
- Comes with three sets of keys and if you act now, a free snowbrush.
