This experiment studies a driver’s behavior over time in order to build a more personalized mobility profile. The goal is to create a driving behavior passport that can be used to calculate more exact insurance rates and allow drivers to take the information with them, from car to car or from insurance carrier to insurance carrier. According to Ford Sales Analyst Erich Merkle, Ford was once again the best-selling brand in America. U.S. sales totaled 2,480,942 vehicles in 2014, flat versus a year ago, primarily due to the all-new F-150 changeover and a planned 15 percent reduction in daily rental sales. View the full article

Ford Motor Company and Ford Motor Company Fund today announced Spelman College as winner of the 2014 Historically Black Colleges & Universities Community Challenge. The student team will receive $75,000 in scholarships and grants for its innovative program addressing the need for healthier meal options through the creation of in-home vegetable gardens in the West End Atlanta community where Spelman is based.
