I haven’t received everything a 2020 transit Connect gas engine in the shop right now with a po400 EGR valve. The emissions warranty is 8/80,000 miles. I’m at 60,000 but the dealership says the EGR valve isn’t covered. I’ve had to contact Ford Warranty to find out why they aren’t warranting the valve. It’s clearly a part of the emissions system. Plus, the emissions warranty is required by the EPA and Federally regulated. The dealership wants to charge $750 to replace it. They had said they’d have it ready yesterday. But when I questions the warranty, now I’m told they don’t even have the part. They told me to call ford warranty because they can’t do any warranty unless ford warranty approved it. Thank God I have a dependable 2004 Chevy truck to work out of.
