Same thing happened to the stainless bolts that I used! Glad to hear I’m not the only one this has happened too ?. Next step was going to be a tap but wasn’t sure if this was the issue so good to hear, thanks!

Hello all! First post here since I got a 2022 TC LWB XLT last year! after remind the second and third row I’ve set off on building an rack out of 8020 which I want to attach to the rear floor using the 3rd row bolt holes using. As the rear seat bolts are m10x1.5, I sourced a larger Allen head stud to secure the 8020 to the threaded holes, however, I’ve been having compatibility issues with the bolts I’ve sourced even though the thread is the same outside of end of the factory bolts that have the a tapered design. Has anyone else had luck with finding such a bolt to use for this application? Trying not to destroy the threads anymore than I have already lol. Thanks in advance
