My name is Mike and live in the Greater Toronto Area. In June 2010, I bought my first Transit Connect. I own an electrical contracting company and had my doubts that the cute little truck could stand up to the rigors of service work. It was delivered late in the afternoon and when it arrived, it created quite a stir around the office. The little truck from the very start, fit right in. I liked it because the cost of running the little truck is very inexpensive and my employees liked it because of the way it drives and because it's easy to park in the city. They say it's like driving a fun little go cart all day. I have three of the the Transt Connects now and as the Safari and Savanna vans expire, we are replacing them with the little truck. To my surprise, my electricians are asking for them as the older vans expire. The only complaint we get is the stereo in it leaves a lot to be desired. I always tell my guys about my first boss and how he took the stereo out of the vans and how he also took the belt off of the A/C compressor. He used to say we should be working, not sitting in the truck soaking up A/C. He was cheap, but he had a point.
