Hi, I have a 2016 Ford Transit connect XLT with a B00C0:11AB or B00c0:11-28 SRS codes and according to my dealer, it'll cost $989 just to replace the airbag sensor which is now installed in the cushion, so the cushion has to be replaced as well. In case you need to know, the B00C0:11AB code reads Passenger side occupancy sensor A short to ground. That relates to the weight pad in the seat that tells the SRS system whether the seat is occupied or not.
Given that there is no recall on the weight sensor and that the SRS light disables the entire SRS system, it's cheaper for me to get an emulator that tells the SRS ecu the seat is occupied vs replacing the weight sensor. I am located in the US in Wisconsin so I hope someone on here can tell me where I can buy an emulator for the weight sensor? I appreciate everyone's help and hope to fix this issue ASAP as I don't want to be driving too long with the SRS system disabled.
