2011 Transit connect won't lock.

Just bought a 2013 transit connect. I haven’t been able to figure out the locks. The back doors lock and unlock fine with the remote. The sliders and front doors are hit or miss. If I lock with the remote the sliders lock but have to lock front doors with key. They’re so messed up I’m afraid I’m going to get locked out. HELP.
