I’m trying to put together specs for the purchase of a new 2014 TC along with up fit equipment for my business. I’ve been trying for weeks to get information regarding the roof attachment points.
The TCs I’ve looked at at the dealers have a series of black plugs in the roof, which cover some sort of holes that apparently can be used to attach equipment to. (See attached photo). I contacted the dealer to find out what was under these plugs (threads?) and how to remove them (pry out? scr
If you look at the pad kit instructions, it has square pads that sit in the bottom of the gutter and fasten with the included bolt. You will probably need to get a washer and a locking nut for the inside as there is no tread, unlike the pad kit instructions pic which show the internal tread for the roof. Check your roof, you can probably see the plastic plugs from the inside, I can see mine. The holes are easily accessible. Make sure to seal the pads and the hole with sanitary silicone to preven
